Dark clouds over Uganda

Sometimes it still hits me how hard the circumstances are here in Uganda.
Most of the time I am enjoying the food, weather, lovely people and peaceful life here.
We appreciate rainy season as the rain makes our crops grow and we shall have food in the future.

But today I hate the rain as the rain has made it impossible for a mother
who was suffering from heavy bleeding after giving birth to a dead baby to reach a hospital on time.
The family members have been desperately trying to find ways
to take her to a safe place but due to the rain they delayed to find someone with a car or motorcycle taxi.

Another sad message:
Our dear nanny Prossy lost her beloved sister today
and it makes me feel sad and powerless that sometimes
we can’t safe a life because of unforeseen circumstances 😞😓
